  2. Beautiful creatures, lovely photographs. The decline of butterflies in fields and woodlands is one of the saddest signs of urban society’s predations on the countryside.
    I never knew there was a butterfly called the comma. The unknown spotted thingy is also a new one on me – and I can’t shed any light on butterfly identities, I’m afraid.
    Great gallery all round!
